Terms of Service

Using viryl

viryl is operated by Viryl Group LLC. By using viryl you agree to these terms. We provide tools to create videos from your music, which you can export and use wherever you like. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

You must be at least 16 to use viryl. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a plan.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Your Content

You own your content, including the videos you export. By using the service you grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your content solely to provide the service. We won't use your content in our own marketing without your permission, and we don't use your music or videos to train AI models.

By uploading anything (video, music, lyrics, images), you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it the way you plan to, including in paid ads. For music, that means the rights to both the recording and the composition. Anyone recognizable in your footage must have agreed to appear in it.

You are responsible for your content and for how you use videos made with viryl. You agree to indemnify viryl against any claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content or your use of it.

viryl Library

You may use clips from the viryl Library in videos you create with viryl, for commercial and personal use, including ads, on any platform. Videos you export, including during a trial, stay licensed after you cancel. The license is non-exclusive, so other people may use the same clips, and we may change or remove Library clips at any time without affecting videos you've already exported. Library clips may include digitally generated or edited content.

You may not sell, share or redistribute library clips on their own, include them in stock or template marketplaces, use them to train AI models, use them in a logo or trademark, or show a recognizable person in a way that suggests they endorse something or in a sensitive or offensive context.

Acceptable Use

Don't upload content you don't have rights to (for example other artists' music, or unlicensed game, film, TV or sports footage), content that is sexually explicit, hateful or misleading, use the service for anything unlawful, or attempt to abuse or disrupt the platform.

Automatic Features

viryl transcribes lyrics, times them to your song and detects beats automatically. These results can be wrong, so check your video before you post it. If your lyrics can't be transcribed correctly, email support@viryl.studio and we'll sort it out.

Copyright Complaints

viryl doesn't publish videos. Users export them and post them elsewhere, so a complaint about a posted video should go to the platform it's on. If you believe content stored on viryl infringes your copyright, email support@viryl.studio with: a description of the work, where the content is on viryl, your name and contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your signature. We remove infringing content and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Payments

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Annual plans are a 12-month commitment. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. We may change our prices; if we do, we'll tell you before your next renewal.

Payments are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or where the law requires.

Termination

We may remove content, or suspend or terminate your access, for violation of these terms, including repeated copyright infringement. You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@viryl.studio.

Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that ad platforms will approve your videos or how they will perform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, viryl is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use viryl after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Delaware. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law.

General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us.
