Who We Are

viryl is operated by Viryl Group LLC. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@viryl.studio.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account (such as your name and email), profile details you add (such as an artist profile you link), content you upload or create on the platform, and basic usage and device data needed to operate the service. We also record how you found viryl, such as the ad or referral link you arrived from.

Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Google User Data

If you sign in with Google, we access your name and email address from your Google account. This data is used solely to create and authenticate your viryl account.

We do not share your Google user data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., our authentication provider). Your Google data is stored securely using encryption in transit and at rest.

We retain your Google data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us at support@viryl.studio.

How We Use It

We use your information to provide and improve the service, process your content, handle payments, measure our marketing, and communicate with you. We do this to provide the service you signed up for, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping viryl secure, improving it, and understanding which of our ads work.

We email you about your account and, from time to time, about new features and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

We don't use your music or videos to train AI models.

Third Parties

We use service providers to help operate the platform, including hosting and storage, payments, email, audio and video processing, analytics and advertising, and referral tracking. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of these providers are based in the US. When your data is transferred outside the EU, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies and Advertising

We use first-party cookies (small files stored by your browser under viryl.studio) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how people find and use viryl. We also use analytics and advertising cookies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. If you arrive through a partner's referral link, we store a referral identifier so we can credit that partner.

We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether those ads work, we share event data with Meta both from your browser and directly from our servers through Meta's Conversions API. This includes actions like creating an account, starting a trial, beginning checkout, and subscribing, along with the advertising identifiers Meta sets when you arrive from one of our ads. Where we share your email address or account identifier, it is hashed before it leaves our systems. We never send Meta your email in readable form.

You can review and change how ads are personalized for you at any time in your Meta ad preferences, and most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them may sign you out or break parts of viryl.

Your Content

You own everything you upload or create on viryl. We only use your content to provide the service, and we won't use it in our marketing without asking you first.

Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, email support@viryl.studio. After your account is deleted, we delete your data within 30 days, unless we have to keep some of it by law (for example, billing records).

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Just email support@viryl.studio. If you're in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

viryl isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in the app.
